About
The National African American Insurance Association

The National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) is a dynamic network for people of color and allies within the insurance industry. With over 2,700 members and 24 chapters nationwide and growing, NAAIA is dedicated to fostering professional development, empowering its members, and serving as a gateway to diverse talent at every level of the industry.
NAAIA’s mission is to provide opportunities for growth through a range of programming, including mentorship initiatives, educational workshops, leadership development programs, and industry-specific training. These initiatives are designed to help members advance their careers, stay informed about industry trends, and build vital skills.
In addition to its robust programming, NAAIA offers numerous networking opportunities through chapter events, national conferences, and special interest groups, creating a space for members to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. By bridging the gap between industry leaders and emerging professionals, NAAIA strengthens the industry’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In December 2018, a group of insurance industry professionals gathered with the goal of establishing a chapter in Boston. By September 2019, Boston was officially chartered as NAAIA’s 17th chapter, making history as the fastest-chartered chapter and expanding NAAIA’s reach into Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.
Our mission is to connect, empower, and develop African-American professionals and allies working in or alongside the insurance industry.
The National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) was organized to create a supportive network for people of color and others in the insurance field. With 23 chapters nationwide, NAAIA’s members represent every sector of the industry, fostering growth through shared knowledge and collaboration.

Tristen Prince, Director of Marketing
Since joining the NAAIA Boston Board in October, Tristen Prince has hit the ground running. As Director of Marketing, he has brought fresh energy, creativity, and intention to our communications, giving new life to our social platforms and strengthening how we show up as a chapter.
Beyond the title, Tristen shows up with a true spirit of service. He consistently raises his hand, offers thoughtful ideas, and finds ways to support wherever there is a need. His dedication, consistency, and collaborative approach have already made a meaningful impact, and we are grateful for the vision and momentum he brings to the board.
We are excited to continue building with Tristen and look forward to all that is ahead.
With a decade of experience in insurance as an underwriter, wholesale broker, and retail agent, Dennis founded his independent agency, only to discover the challenges of managing a digital presence. In response, he launched Endelea.Studio, a dynamic firm specializing in website design and operational consulting.
Beyond crafting websites, Endelea.Studio guides businesses from idea conception through capital investments and legacy planning. Dennis Logan's vision extends beyond overcoming digital challenges, aiming to empower businesses to thrive seamlessly in both physical and digital realms.
Celebrating innovation and resilience, the National African American Insurance Association acknowledges Dennis Logan as a trailblazer, inspiring members to embrace digital transformation and navigate the evolving landscape of the insurance industry with confidence.
